VoltFX

Charging animation · Android

Effective 2 November 2026 · applies to VoltFX on Android

In short

  • No account and no analytics. Your settings live on your phone.
  • Photos and videos you choose stay on your phone — the app reads them where they are and never uploads them.
  • Battery readings are used on the device to draw the animation and are never sent anywhere.
  • Video themes are downloaded from our content server, which sees only an ordinary web request.

Who we are

VoltFX is made by Lotus Kite, a studio of Trano Technology and Digital Solutions Company Limited (Công ty TNHH Công nghệ và Giải pháp số Trano), tax code 0319730113, B199A Đông Hưng Thuận 13 Street, Quarter 25, Đông Hưng Thuận Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

What the app handles and why

  • Battery information (level, charging state, voltage, temperature, current) is read from Android to draw the animation, live wallpaper and widget, estimate time to full and ring the full-charge alarm. It is used on the device only.
  • Charge history — your last 30 charging sessions and last 6 charger tests, used to show history and your battery's measured capacity — is stored in the app's private storage and never sent.
  • Your photo or video — when you pick one as a backdrop, live-wallpaper photo or alarm video, the app keeps permission to read that one file (so it still works after a restart) and remembers its location. It does not copy or upload it.
  • Settings — chosen effect, colour, theme, alarm level and timing of the last ad — are stored in the app's private storage.
  • Downloaded video themes are saved in the app's storage so they play offline.
  • Permissions: Display over other apps lets the animation appear when you plug in; Notifications are needed for the charging service and the alarm; Run at startup restarts the service after a reboot; Set wallpaper is used only when you tap “Set as wallpaper”. To open the right battery or autostart screen on your phone, the app checks which of nine phone makers' settings apps is installed; nothing is sent.

Advertising

The free version shows rewarded ads you choose to watch (to try a style for 24 hours) and, occasionally, a full-screen ad after you apply a style — never to subscribers, never on your first apply, at most once every three minutes, and never over the lock screen. Ads are served by Google AdMob. Google may use your device's advertising ID to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later from the app's settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play. We receive only what is needed to unlock what you bought (the product, its status and an anonymous purchase token). We never receive your name, card or billing address. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.

How long we keep it, and how to delete it

Settings, charge history, downloaded themes and the link to your chosen photo stay on your phone until you change them, clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Our theme server keeps no record tied to you.

If device backup is turned on (Android backup to your Google account, or iCloud backup on iPhone), your phone may include this app's private data in that backup. Those backups are run and encrypted by Google or Apple under your account, not by us, and you control them in your phone's settings.

Children

VoltFX is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law (No. 91/2025/QH15), the EU and UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict processing. Because most of what the app handles never leaves your phone, the quickest way to exercise these rights is usually to clear the app's data or uninstall it. For anything else, email [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Data in transit uses HTTPS. Data kept on your phone is stored in the app's private storage, protected by your phone's own security. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold to the minimum.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
